Monument Stadhuisplein

The statue on Stadhuisplein represents a horrible time in history, but to me it also has a beautiful side to it, because the connection between the figures represents power. The statue lives because of this and to me the message is positive. Although ‘stronger through battle’ does not literally apply to our work, it can be interpreted in many ways. Because when you can let the negative battle with yourself and the other go, there is room for growth and development.
